Memory Care
Dealing with memory issues is a difficult and scary time for patients and their families! The entire staff at AlzCare has a special passion for senior care and our Director has almost 3 decades of experience in the field. Our staff is hand-picked to meet the special needs of memory care patients and are required to attend monthly trainings on specialty care.
Our facility and staff are trained to offer quality care to residents suffering from issues relating to all the different kinds of dementia, Alzheimer’s, alcoholism, Lewy Body, and other memory related issues. Our program is designed to allow residents to “age in place” in a warm, homelike, and loving environment.
Our beautiful, homelike facility is located on three, beautiful acres and surrounded by nature. The facility features:
- 16 Beds
- Private and semi private rooms
- Meal accommodations including special needs diets
- 3:16+ caregiver to patient ratio
Our communal living and dining area is the perfect place for residents to gather for group activities, meals, and social interaction. All meals are prepared by experienced cooks and feature seasonal menus hand prepared with fresh ingredients. Our Engagement Coordinator is on site offering residents an array of activities including games, arts & crafts, live music, special entertainment, and off site field trips (when applicable).
To meet the needs of our residents, we offer daily cleaning services, weekly laundry services, meal accommodations, medication administration, and a full-time RN and two full-time LVNs.
